About me

A tech enthusiast with a passion for creativity, design, and coding full stack from HTML5, CSS(3), and numerous JavaScript frameworks, to node.js, .NET MVC, Ruby on Rails and Python.

In general, my specialties include web application development, relational and document-centric data modeling, UI/UX, and web services. My toolkit includes, but is not limited to, C#, Ruby (Rails and Sinatra), JavaScript (to include JQuery, Node.js, AngularJS and Vue.js), RESTful APIs, and some Python (Tornado, Flask, Django).

Currently, I am enhancing my skillset with Vue.js and SPA (Single Page Applications).

Contact List

A Single Page App (SPA) using Angular & RoR API.

ContactList was an application I built as a requirement for an interview. It is a single page application that utilizes AngularJS 1.x on the front-end, and Ruby on Rails (5) for the RESTful API. This application stores all information in a JSON file and allows for adding new contacts and removing contacts.

Node.JS | Express Application Framework | EJS Templating Engine

A Web application built using node.js, express application framework, and ejs template engine. I used goodread's api to fetch book covers and MongoDB to store book documents. In this application I also used gulp for automated tasks and mocha for test cases.

Central Admin

ASP.NET MVC Application

This is a tool built using .NET MVC (Razor/C#) and Angular.JS that allowed our support personel to query records viewed by selected employees. This admin tool also gave support personel the ability to grant/remove access to an older classic ASP application based on roles and contract type.

Authenticate User

C# .NET / LDAP Utility

A dll I built for Active Directory Authentication. This dll was written in C#, .NET, and used Directory Services to interact with LDAP.

Pinning App

Ruby on Rails Pinterest like application.

A Web application built with Ruby on Rails in a course I took to learn the Ruby way. This application uses ActiveRecord ORM with PostgreSQL database backend. It is based on the popular Pinterest social application.

Anagram Generator

Ruby with Sinatra framework - Anagram Generator

Anagrams are words that have the exact same letters but in a different order. Like dog and god. Or Nepal and plane. This application utilized the Ruby language with Sinatra framework and a PostgreSQL Database. I followed a 3 layer, MVC pattern and used ActiveRecord (Data Modeler) for the ORM.

Python/Tornado

A demonstration app for reading in json file.

This simple program was written in Python code. The objective of this program is to read in a json file and display the nodes in an HTML page. Tornado was used as the web server (similar to node.js).

Job Finder

AngularLS and Node.JS Application

This was an application I built to learn Node.JS. You can add a new job posting and remove job postings. I used AngularJS 1.x on the front-end.
